Motorcyclist dies in Hwy. 20 crash near Santiam Pass
A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening on U.S. Highway 20 west of Santiam Pass, Oregon State Police reported.
The crash was reported around 6:30 p.m. near milepost 75, about five miles west of the Santiam Pass summit, according to OSP and ODOT officials.
No other details were released initially, but ODOT’s TripCheck cameras indicated the roadway was wet around that time. The crash and investigation closed a westbound lane, according to the TripCheck page.
