Warm Thursday, rain and cooler temperatures ahead

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - We have a brief warm up today with highs reaching into the upper 70s and low 80s.

Thursday will be a transition day for us as clouds increase ahead of showers. A trough of low pressure will bring periods of rain overnight.

Those showers are expected to continue off and on through the day tomorrow.

Temperatures will drop sharply tomorrow as a cold front moves through, bringing cooler air behind it. It will feel more fall-like tomorrow as highs dip into the low 60s with breezy to windy conditions developing.

A cooler-than-normal pattern will stick around through the weekend with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.

We will see partly cloudy skies on Saturday with increasing clouds by Sunday.

Expect slightly warmer temperatures Monday in the mid 60s. Highs return to the low 70s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
