Warm Thursday, rain and cooler temperatures ahead

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Temperatures will be above normal today as some warmer air moves in. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s today.

Thursday will be a transition day for us as clouds increase ahead of showers. A trough of low pressure will bring periods of rain by late Thursday. Showers will linger off and on through the day Friday.

Temperatures will drop sharply tomorrow as a cold front moves through, bringing cooler air behind it. It will feel more fall-like tomorrow as highs dip into the low 60s with breezy to windy conditions developing.

Below normal temperatures will stick around through the weekend with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.

We will see partly cloudy skies on Saturday with increasing cloud cover on Sunday. Overnight lows could hover near the low 30s just around sunrise.

We will see slightly warmer temperatures Monday in the mid 60s. Highs return to the low 70s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
