Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…

It was another chilly night here on the High Desert, but clouds that pressed in last night were quick to make an exit this morning. After a cool day yesterday and a cold night last night, we are looking for a repeat today. With plenty of sunshine, today’s highs will be in the upper 60’s for most and low 70’s for a few. NW winds will be pretty gentle for much of the day, but watch for them to pick up to 5-15 mph this afternoon. Some areas will see gusts as high as 20 mph.

Skies will stay clear tonight and with that will come another chilly night. Most lows will dip to the low to mid 30’s with some below freezing. Breezes will become light and variable after midnight.

A very modest warming trend will have us in the upper 70’s Friday, but that gets reversed in a hurry. Another system whose greatest strength will be felt by Washington and British Columbia will bring clouds and cooler temps back to Central Oregon. With Saturday being the first day of Autumn how apropos that we should see cool temps and breezy conditions under partly cloudy skies. While highs will remain a bit on the cool side going into next week we will see plenty of sunshine.

HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
