Thursday AM Local Alert Weather

KTVZ

Hello Central Oregon!
We woke up this morning to another day with clear skies and cool temperatures. The entire Northwest is still sitting under a ridge of high pressure and it will stay with us at least through the weekend and into next week.

Not much activity is seen on the model forecast over the next 36 hours.

Temperatures started the day in the low 20s to low high 30s across Central Oregon, and some areas were a bit warmer than this time yesterday. Although we are warmer in the morning, our highs for Thursday will be slightly cooler than Wednesday.

Our overnight lows will be a bit warmer tonight than last night. And then, over the next seven days, we continue to warm up under this ridge of high pressure getting into the low 70s over the weekend. However by mid-week next week, we are seeing a slight chance of rain coming in late in the day on Wednesday.
