KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

High pressure is sliding east allowing for a few systems to move into our region. Clouds have started to roll in this evening. Winds are out of the southeast around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 20s.

Tomorrow begins on a cold note, but above average already. Daytime highs will climb into the mid to upper 40s by the afternoon. Overhead we can expect partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies at times. Conditions will stay dry for Thursday, but winds will pick up ahead of a cold front sweeping through the area on Friday. Winds will top out around 20 miles per hour in the evening.

Overnight into Friday we see a chance for mixed showers, but the Cascades will see the most out of this first wave of showers. Snow levels will be around 4,000′ Thursday night, then falling to 3,800′ Friday morning, and to 3,000′ Friday night.

Friday has a slight chance for showers, but overall we’ll see mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. We see a few chances for showers this weekend: specifically overnight into Sunday and overnight into Monday. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s.
