Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 4-10-19

KTVZ

Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…

Storm activity carried into the NW by a strong flow out of the Gulf of Alaska will thicken our clouds and give us a chance of afternoon showers today. Highs will stay cool, topping out around 50 degrees, and westerly winds will pick up to 15-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. We stand a better chance of seeing showers through the night. Lows will dip into the 30’s and winds will stay gusty out of the west at 10-20 mph.

We are settling into a pattern that will have us in and out of rain showers for the next several days. Friday we will see partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 50’s. The next system will move in Saturday with slightly warmer temperatures and showers developing later in the day. We will see a chance of rain Sunday, a break Monday and then more rain Tuesday. With the exception of pretty average temperatures Saturday we can expect to be fairly cool, both during the day and overnight, through this whole process.
