State Bicycle/Pedestrian Committee meets in Bend

The Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will meet from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., on Tuesday at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes Convention Center Board Room, 3075 N Highway 97 in Bend. On Wednesday, the group will join the Central Oregon Bike Summit, set for 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Bend Parks and Recreation District Office, 799 SW Columbia St. in Bend.

Agenda items on Tuesday include a discussion on a state bike/ped funding manual, legislative and Connect Oregon program updates and more. OBPAC members will present at and participate in the Central Oregon Bike Summit on Wednesday.

The committee accepts public comment; those who wish to do so are encouraged to sign up on the public comment sheet provided at the meeting. General guidelines: provide written summaries when possible and limit comments to three minutes. If you bring written summaries or other materials to the meeting, please provide the chairperson with a copy prior to your comment.
