Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

The rain has arrived and it’s here to stay through tomorrow night. We’ll see a chance for rain showers overnight with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be cool again in the lower 40s. Winds will be breezy at times around 5 to 10 miles per hour out of the south.

Tomorrow will start with a chance for rain and we’ll look to see a better chance for rain in the afternoon. We’ll also see a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms in Central Oregon during the second half of the day. Temperatures will be in the 50s & 60s for highs, which is well below normal for this time of year.

Thursday begins to clear up and dry out as well. We’ll see partly cloudy to partly sunny skies with a slight chance for a few light showers. Highs will be slightly warmer in the low to mid 60s. Winds will be gusty at times topping 20 miles per hour. Friday will see more of the same, but fewer chances for rain showers.

Saturday looks to be one of the nicest days of the extended forecast with highs in the upper 60s & lower 70s. Mostly sunny skies are on the way with light winds. Sunday sees a change with some rain showers, cooler temperatures and breezy conditions at times.

Fall begins at 12:50 a.m. Monday morning and we’ll see a fairly nice day to follow. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s with mostly sunny skies. Tuesday looks a bit warmer with highs back into the low to mid 70s with mostly sunny skies, too.
