Foggy and rainy pattern today, drying out New Year’s Eve

Once again the foggy pattern continues to plague the overnight and morning hours in Central Oregon. Temperatures are going to be slightly cooler today but still above normal once again. Mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers will define the day.

Tonight our region will start to see some clearing as the evening moves along. A good chance for the area to see some foggy weather once again overnight. Visibility will be an issue at times, so please allow extra time to get to your destinations.

Sunday, the last day of the year, will be dry and mild with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low to middle 40s. New Year’s Eve will be partly cloudy and chilly with the mercury dropping to the freezing mark by midnight.

New Year’s Day will be dry and mild as well under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the low to middle 40s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring along a chance for some rain and snow.

Stay safe.
