Cold couldn’t keep volunteers from counting, packing milkweed seeds on MLK Jr. Day of Service

The frigid weather didn't keep volunteers from helping the Deschutes Land Trust by counting milkweed seeds and making packets the organization will distribute. Milkweed is a primary food source for the caterpillars of our native Western monarch butterfly.
