Wintry mix over the weekend

Happy Saturday Central Oregon!

We are seeing highs in the upper 30s in most areas. 

There in a Winter Weather Advisory for the East Slopes of the Cascades, including the cities Sunriver and La Pine until Sunday at 10am. Mixed precipitation could mean slippery road conditions so use caution while traveling.

Roads are still very icy out there. We could possibly see more improvement moving into Sunday when temperatures get to the middle 40s. 

We can expect an off and on wintry mix that will remain until the end of the week. 

Although no significant storm events are expected, we may see waves of light rain, snow and freezing rain.
