Northwest Express lift set to reopen Wednesday, leaving pass holders frustrated; Mt. Bachelor says oil leak was issue

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A spokeswoman for Mt. Bachelor told News Channel 21 that after closing Monday because of an oil leak in its hard line, the Northwest Express lift is set to reopen Wednesday.

It's not the first time the lift has closed this season due to a maintenance issue - leaving pass holders to voice their frustrations on Reddit. Lauren Burke Mt. Bachelor says the lift does need a new electric motor and added that one has been ordered and expedited.

News Channel 21 will keep you updated when it arrives and a timeline on its installation has been finalized.
