Homes for Our Troops invites public to Elk Lodge for a community kickoff

  Dozens of people gathered at the Elk Lodge in Bend for a Homes for Our Troops community kickoff. It was to celebrate the building of a specially adapted home for army Sergeant Christopher Chatwin. He was injured while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit organization that builds fully adapted homes. Donating houses to severely injured post 9-11 combat veterans.
