Snow Report: Thursday February 15th

Plenty of new snow today as the Cascades continue to get more as we head into the weekend. There have been some gusty winds at times that may have compromised some of the snow report totals, but even as the reports may look low, the snow has fallen and will continue, off and on, through at least Saturday. Temperatures on the hills are going to hover near freezing, so the snow will not be as fluffy as some prefer, but snow is snow. Roads to the resorts will be slick but manageable, just allow for extra time getting to your favorite location. Traveling back will be a bit tricky today as the passes are wet now in the above freezing temps, but should ice up in spots after about 4 pm or so.
