Chilly start then a mild pattern returns, spotty showers Tuesday

After a crisp and breezy day Sunday, the region will be sunny, dry and near normal once again. Temperatures are likely to reach the middle 60s with breezy conditions. Cold weather will start the new work week as temps will be in the 20s and 30s. Under mostly sunny skies, the region will warm up quickly.

The region will change to a cloudy pattern once again Tuesday with a rogue or stray shower possible. Don’t expect much in the way of rain, it will be light a short lived.  Another chance for rain will return overnight into Wednesday as the area will see some much needed moisture.

The rain Wednesday will also be light and variable, and there should be a few flakes flying on the crest of the Cascades. Travel over the mountains Wednesday morning may be slick, but since the roads are not frozen, I only expect to see some snow on the side of the road, and wet road conditions for drivers.

Cool again Wednesday with the rain, but a quick return to the 60s on Thursday, then possibly hitting the 70s on Friday.
