Shepherd’s House Ministries hosted an event Tuesday celebrating two years of impactful service at The Lighthouse temporary location during construction at 181 NE Franklin Ave Bend, Oregon. This special event recognized the significant achievements over the past two years, honor community partnerships, and discuss the latest construction projects set to be completed by the end of September this year.

Since its establishment, The Lighthouse has been a sanctuary for those experiencing homelessness, providing shelter and essential resources to help individuals transition towards a stable and independent future. This success is made possible through the unwavering dedication of our staff, volunteers, and a supportive community.

Key Accomplishments Over the Past Two Years:

- 70,744 Nights of Safe Shelter Provided

- 192,032 Meals Served

- 341 Individuals Transitioned to Stable Housing

The Lighthouse Navigation Center, launched in July 2022, has been pivotal in offering comprehensive services, including case management, to those facing homelessness. E

van Hendrix, Director of Navigation Services, emphasizes the center’s mission: “It’s been extremely encouraging to see how the effect of The Lighthouse provided so much opportunity for unhoused people in Central Oregon, helping people pursue health, stability, and the chance to hope and work towards a new life.”
