Monday’s Sports Report: Addisen Fisher gives to Bend South LL; COVC 16U competes at Nationals; The Olympics begin Friday

Bend High's Addisen Fisher, the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year, is granting Bend South Little League $1,000. It will go to the Challenger Program, which provides a safe and structured environment for children with physical or intellectual challenges to learn and enjoy baseball. Meanwhile, the Central Oregon Volleyball Club had their 16U team compete at Nationals in Vegas. And The Olympics opening ceremonies take place on Friday!
