Sunny skies and comfortable temps today

Good morning!

We're in for another pleasant day with sunny skies and temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s. This weather pattern will remain with us until tomorrow.

We'll start to cool down as a low-pressure system settles over the Pacific Northwest. Temperatures will drop down into the 60s, which is well below normal for us this time of year.

Heading towards the end of the week, there's a chance of showers, highest chances in Central Oregon on Thursday. Thunderstorms are a possibility, but they would be primarily over the Cascades.

The good news is that the showers and cooler temperatures will be a big help in fighting wildfires. I don't expect air quality to be a concern today.

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!
