Art in the High Desert celebrates return to Bend’s Riverbend Park with juried show and sale
Kelsey McGee will have a report at Six on Fox
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Artists from far and wide and art lovers from across the High Desert are coming together at Bend's Riverbend Park on Sunday for the last day of this year's Art in the High Desert.
There are 150 artists from across the U.S. and Canada taking part in the event, Central Oregon's premier juried art and craft show and sale, which returned to Bend this year after being held at the Fairgrounds in Redmond after a COVID-caused pause.
Artists who take part are chosen on certain criteria: original thought and intent, concept and consistency of style and presentation. The third and final day of this year's event began at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
Kelsey McGee is visiting the show, seeing what the artists have on display and what visitors are buying and appreciating. Her report will be on NewsChannel 21 at Six, which airs tonight on Fox Central Oregon.
