Students to benefit from Mid Oregon Credit Union’s Supplies 4 Schools fundraiser
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — With the support of its members, staff and the community, Mid Oregon Credit Union collected $1,709 and multiple bins of school supplies for local students during its annual Supplies 4 Schools fundraiser benefiting Family Access Network.
During the month of August, Mid Oregon collected school supplies and cash donations at its seven branch locations in Bend, La Pine, Madras, Redmond, Prineville, and Sisters. All donations benefit the local communities where they were received.
“For nearly two decades, our team and members have come together to support Central Oregon K-12 students by providing them with the supplies they need to start the school year off right,” says Kyle Frick, VP of Marketing and Community Relations for Mid Oregon Credit Union.
Mid Oregon partners with Family Access Network (FAN) to distribute supplies to students in Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson Counties who lack the necessities to succeed at school.
“FAN connected more than 1,700 children with school supplies in the 2023-24 school year,” said Kelsey Seymour, FAN Community Outreach Coordinator. “With the help from Mid Oregon’s Supplies 4 Schools donations, hundreds more local students will have the tools they need to come to class ready to learn.”
