Local Church Helps Veterans

Bend, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Holy Communion Church has worked alongside Central Oregon Veterans Outreach for years. A liaison from COVO lets the church know what sort of supplies they need the most. Some years it's things like canned food, but this year it's socks and gloves.

The Church collected funds and donations from it's congregation and gathered eighteen hundred pairs of sock and seven hundred gloves.
