Dry and mild today and tomorrow with rain returning this weekend
Highs today will be in the 40s, with a few areas reaching the low 50s. The skies will remain mostly sunny today with a bit of a breeze. Lows tonight will range from the mid 20s to the mid 30s.
You could be struggling with a little frost this morning but otherwise quiet and dry conditions through the afternoon. Clouds will increase Friday but temperatures will be about the same as today.
An upper level low pressure moves in this weekend and with it, rain. Rain begins Saturday and will be on and off for at least a week. There is a chance for a few flakes to be mingled in with the rain on Saturday, but it looks like it’ll be mostly rain.
Rain pauses Sunday morning and continues that night. There will be another pause on Monday before the next round moves in overnight into Tuesday, but again, as mostly rain. Tuesday morning will have a better chance of dropping some snow and a more widespread wintry mix but it will be short lived and will accumulate little to none in the high desert.
Christmas won’t exactly be a White Christmas, but we could see flakes falling overnight into Thursday morning. This is still a bit of a ways out, and could change as we approach the holiday. Check back in for the latest updates.
Happy Thursday and have a great day!
