Search for missing Oregon toddler continues
SILETZ, Ore. -- A massive search continues for a missing two-year-old in Siletz on the Oregon Coast.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) says Dane Paulsen disappeared from a rural area on Saturday, March 1st. He was last seen playing in the front yard of his home around 4:20 PM.
Boats and divers have been searching the nearby Siletz River, while heat seeking drones monitor from the air.
According to a press release from LCSO, as of Monday evening, 311 miles have been covered and 682 acres have been searched. Of those 682 acres, community volunteers searched 230 acres.

-13 divers
-4 drones
-6 human trailing k9s
-40 investigators
-More than 140 community volunteers
Community members are not encouraged to search during the evening hours due to decreased visibility and increased chance of injury.
Dane is described as friendly and fearless, comfortable around strangers and bodies of water, despite being unable to swim.
He was last seen wearing a fuzzy gray hoodie and black pants, investigators said. Dane has brown hair that is shaved on the sides and long on top. He has green eyes, weighs about 45 pounds, and is about 2½ feet tall.
