Furry Friends: Splash, the sweet boy
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week's Furry Friend is Splash, a 2-year-old Terrier/mixed breed!
Splash is a super-sweet boy with a very fitting name. He loves all things water--and is obsessed with his toys!
"Splash came to us about a month ago as a stray, he is a happy-go-lucky guy. His favorite thing is the water and his toys. He is definitely still learning how to be friends with other dogs, definitely prefers female dogs," said Hannah Loftis, the shelter manager at BrightSide Animal Center in Redmond.
"We've been taking him on a lot of pack walks with females, getting him used to them. Haven't started groups yet, but he's doing a lot better. The big thing is just having a wonderful handler and home that understands his energy levels, his play drive, and is able to take him to the river and just do all those things. Plus, the training to keep him amazing and the goodest boy he can be."
