Quiet and warm weather for the rest of the holiday weekend
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ). Today will be a pleasant and dry day as the mercury in the thermometer gets back into the low 80s. Plenty of sunshine and light winds will define the day. If you had plans interrupted by the rainy weather Friday, the 4th of July, today you will able to make up for it as it will be a great day for any outdoor activities.
Sunday will begin a noticeable warming trend as the high temperatures reach the upper 80s. Mostly sunny and dry weather should allow for another great day outside. Remember to stay hydrated in the heat and enjoy all that Central Oregon has to offer.
Monday starts a run of hot conditions as highs reach the low to middle 90s. There will be mostly sunny skies allowing the temps to reach that level. Normal highs for this time of year should be around the low 80s.
Tuesday will be the hottest day of the run of 90s as we hit the middle to upper 90s in a few locations. Some clouds arrive in the afternoon Wednesday and a stray shower or pop-up storm is not out of the question. Highs still in the low 90s even with the chance for some storms.
Thursday may break the string of 90s with a high of 89, but that is still very warm. We are in the middle of the meteorological summer, and it is going to feel like it next week.
Back to the heat Friday as we hit the low 90s again. Â Summer is here!
Please stay safe and have fun.
