Heating up again into the weekend, typical summer weather

Temperatures in the area will be heating up as we move forward through the week.  Monday, we saw highs in the upper 70s, today we are going to be about normal, with highs in the middle 80s.  Tomorrow, we are expected to return to upper 80s and low 90s with that trend continuing into Thursday.

There is a slight chance that a rogue shower may pop up in the heat of the day, but most of the computer models are not indicting much, if any.  Generally, the next few days will be quiet and very warm to hot.  It would be nice to get some soaking rain at this point in the summer, but it looks like that is not in the cards.

The winds will be light and variable, so not much going on in that respect either. The wildfires in the region were treated to cooler and cloudy conditions for a couple of days which allowed the firefighters to get some significant suppression work done on the Cram, Greely Heights, and Butte Creek fires.  The Cram fire is unofficially in mop up mode.

Over the weekend the region will be near normal as far as temperatures are concerned with middle 80s in the cards.

Starting Monday, the area should be back in the 90s for a couple of days.  In the heat of the day there may be an isolated storm pop up, but nothing widespread is slated to occur.
