Furry Friends: Mamas is a calm, kind-hearted girl

This week's Furry Friend is Mamas, the sweetest 1 1/2-year-old dog looking for her forever home at Brightside Animal Center in Redmond.

She is a very calm, kind-hearted pup.

"She's been getting more into playgroups recently and she seems to prefer her boy friends. She's doing really well, she is super sweet. Very friendly with people," said Paige Kidd, the development and volunteer manager at Brightside. "She's great on-leash, she's one of the volunteer favorites. Just a really sweet girl with a really nice and calm demeanor."

Mamas came in as a stray and has been at the shelter for a few months. She's looking for a home with an active family and would do great with a fur-brother!

She is a bit of an escape artist, so she needs a family that can ensure she won't go off on her own adventures.
