Tracking thunderstorm chances through the week

Sunday has been pleasant so far, with sunny skies and warm temperatures. There's still a slight chance for a shower or an isolated storm later today, but most of the activity should stay to the east of Central Oregon.

Tomorrow starts off dry and mild, with temperatures in the 60s and 70s as you head out the door.

By the afternoon and evening, isolated to scattered storms could develop, fueled by highs reaching the upper 80s to low 90s.

Hot and unsettled weather continues through midweek, with more chances for storms and showers to develop. The storms increase in coverage area by Wednesday and Thursday and may be a bit more robust on these days.

This stormy pattern should clear out by the end of the work week, leaving us with a quieter weekend.

Keep an eye on the daily forecast, especially if you have outdoor plans, as conditions could change quickly.
