Furry Friends: Greta the greatest girl!

This week's Furry Friend is Greta, an 8-month-old husky mix looking for her forever home at Brightside Animal Center in Redmond.

Greta is a very sweet girl but is a little on the shy side. But she'll warm up quickly with some pets and belly rubs!

"She loves playgroup. She's done really well with the other dogs here. She's super social, loves to splash in the kiddie pool and play with toys. She's a really sweet girl," said Paige Kidd, the development and volunteer manager at Brightside. "She's just a little bit shy in new situations. She didn't have the best start to life. Having a home that can be patient with her and help her build up that confidence and get her adjusted would be perfect."

Greta is one of the many dogs recently rescued from a neglect situation in Terrebonne. She's the last of her siblings remaining at the shelter and is looking for the perfect person or family to call her own.
