Entering October gray, gloomy, and cool with chances for rain throughout the day
Bend, OR (KTVZ) -
Winds will be breezy this morning as a surface front continues to make its way across Central Oregon. You can plan for breezy winds all day long.
Skies will be gray and gloomy today. Overcast skies are expected with the chance for light spotty showers at any time today. Stray showers will continue Thursday before tapering off heading into the weekend. Skies will clear and you’ll be welcoming back the sunshine this weekend.
We’ve received a dusting of snow across the mountains over the last day or two and have chances for a little more of that over the next day or two. While accumulation is small, we are on our way to another potentially great ski season!
Temperatures are in the 60s this afternoon, and every afternoon until next week. Higher elevation areas will see the upper 50s at times throughout the next few days. Temperatures are a little cooler than normal for this time of year. Normal is in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
It's October so the hidden pumpkin scavenger hunt is back!🎃 There is a hidden a jack-o'-lantern in the forecast for you to find. There is no treat (or trick) if you find the pumpkin, just something fun for you and your family every morning through the month of October. Happy Hunting!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
