Popular downtown Bend restaurant The Lemon Tree up for sale

(Update: Adding video)

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — A longtime favorite for breakfast and lunch in downtown Bend is up for sale. The Lemon Tree, located on Northwest Franklin Avenue, has been listed for $500,000, according to an online posting.

The listing states that the sale includes the business only and not the building. The lease for the restaurant runs through 2030, with a monthly rent of about $4,150 and an additional fee for common area maintenance.

The news also comes as a popular breakfast spot in Redmond for locals, is also on the market.

Financial details in the posting show the restaurant generates roughly $1.5 million in annual revenue.

Owners Mac and Betsy McDonald opened The Lemon Tree in 2018 after building the restaurant’s concept abroad and later bringing it to Central Oregon. The business has won multiple local awards, including The Source Weekly’s Best Brunch in 2025 and Best Breakfast in 2023.

In an interview with our media partners at The Source, the owners said they’re looking for a buyer who will continue the restaurant’s success while they take some time off to travel. For now, they plan to keep running the restaurant as usual until a sale is completed.
