Mild temperatures on Sunday, increasing clouds

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - We’re seeing mostly clear and dry conditions today thanks to a ridge of high pressure parked over the Pacific Northwest.

High temperatures climbed into the mid 50s to mid 60s this afternoon. Hope you had a chance to get outside and enjoy the warmer December temperatures!

Tomorrow is our transition day as we shift from dry to wetter weather.

We’ll start Sunday mostly sunny, with clouds increasing through the day. Highs will still feel mild, reaching the upper 50s to low 60s.

Light rain moves into Central Oregon on Monday, though some of it may take time to reach the ground. Temperatures will stay warmer than normal.

Tuesday looks to be the wettest day of the stretch, with more widespread rain and slightly cooler highs in the mid 50s.

By Wednesday morning, we could see a rain and snow mix. Thursday may start with some light snow before switching to rain in the afternoon.

Friday could bring another brief mix early, then drier conditions lasting through Saturday night. As always, the forecast can change, so be sure to check back each day for updates.
