More sunshine on Sunday, temperatures continue to warm

Happy Saturday!

The region is settling into a quiet, dry pattern that looks to last through much of next week.

Clouds linger tonight with overnight lows dropping into the 20s and 30s.

More sunshine returns on Sunday with highs warming into the upper 40s and low 50s. Sunny skies continue into Monday with mild afternoon temperatures.

A gradual warming trend continues as high pressure strengthens midweek. By Tuesday and Wednesday, highs climb close to 60 degrees.

It’s unlikely we’ll see any rain or snow showers for the next 7 days. As temperatures continue to rise, some snowpack melting is likely.

An Air Quality Advisory is in effect for parts of Deschutes County due to limited air movement and potential air quality impacts. Pollutants such as pile burn smoke may linger near the ground, especially in La Pine.
