Drying out today, above normal temperatures through the weekend

KTVZ

Happy Friday!

Expect mostly cloudy skies this morning with a chance for a stray shower. This afternoon, highs rise into the low to mid 50s with some breaks in the clouds.

The weekend looks mostly dry and mild.

We’ll see more sunshine on Saturday with above normal temperatures continuing.

Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s, with most of the moisture staying west or north of Central Oregon.

Clouds increase again on Sunday, but temperatures remain mild with a slight chance for an isolated shower.

Monday marks a big moment for our most famous forecaster, Punxsutawney Phil. Shadow or no shadow? A shadow signals six more weeks of winter, while no shadow points to an early spring.

Groundhog Day temperatures will stay near 50. Skies will be partly cloudy.

The dry and mild pattern will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s.
