Furry Friends: Chief loves playing fetch, getting treats, and your attention!

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week's Furry Friend is Chief, a 5-year-old silver lab looking for his forever home at Brightside Animal Center in Redmond.

Chief is still full of puppy energy! He's a big, goofy guy who never stops wagging his tail.

He's a typical lab, and wants all of the attention, toys, and treats!

"Chief is the resident head honcho of Brightside. We love him and his big antics. He's a great dog," said Hannah Loftis, the shelter manager at Brightside. "Ball is his favorite thing. Ball is life. He loves to play fetch...Typical happy lab who is ready to go on all adventures of life with you. Make you smile when you have a bad day, make you smile more when you're having a great day."

Chief loves people of all ages. He would do best in a home where he is the only pup so he can get all of the attention!

"He has been in foster before with kiddos in the home, and he did really great...He definitely prefers friends over siblings, so we do recommend him to be the only dog in the home...He does like meeting friends in the play yard and hanging out, but likes his own space in his home," Hannah said. "He did have a dental with us. He does have some hip and joint issues in his rear end, so we are kind of watching that and letting all adopters know he does not understand that he is an older guy."
