TRAFFIC ALERT: US 97 Now open South of Madras

MADRAS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- U.S. Highway 97 is now back open after a closure of around 3 hours Sunday evening.

The road was closed in both directions due to a crash near Culver. The crash occurred 7 miles south of Madras at 4:17 p.m.. ODOT set up a detour in the area.

KTVZ News is working to get more information on the crash, and will update when the information is available.
