Cooler temperatures, increasing shower chances midweek

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - After a mild weekend, temperatures cool down today. Highs will reach the upper 40s to low 50s.

Expect mostly dry conditions across the High Desert, with a chance of light mountain snow.

Tuesday is a little milder, with highs in the low to mid 50s. Mostly cloudy skies continue with some light mountain precipitation.

A cold front moves through Wednesday, bringing cooler air and lowering snow levels. This system could bring a couple inches of snow to the Cascade passes, which may impact travel into Thursday.

Plan on a wet Wednesday with mostly rain showers across the High Desert during the day. As colder air moves in, rain could mix with or change to snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Expect little to no accumulation.

Thursday looks to be the coolest day of the week with highs topping out in the mid 40s.

We return to a quieter and warmer pattern heading into the weekend. Highs reach the upper 50s Friday under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures warm into the 60s Saturday and Sunday with continued sunshine.
