Mild Monday, warming trend this week

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A quiet pattern continues as we close out April this week.

Expect mostly sunny skies through Monday. Highs will reach the upper 50s to low 60s today, with a gradual warming trend ahead.

Planned prescribed burning today could bring some smoke to parts of Deschutes County, especially overnight and into the early morning hours.

Expect mostly clear skies overnight as lows drop into the upper 20s to mid 30s.

By midweek, temperatures climb into the mid to upper 60s. By Thursday and Friday, highs will reach the mid 70s. We’ll cool slightly into the weekend, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Drier and warmer weather over the next several days is due to high pressure building over the Pacific Northwest.

This will be a great week to get outside! Just keep in mind mornings will start off chilly, so layers are always a good idea.
