Developing News: Wildfire Burning Southwest of Sisters, 0143 Trout Creek Fire

UPDATE: The 0143 Trout Creek Fire has now burned 40 acres and is growing.

The fire is now 40 acres per the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC).

Firefighters are responding to a new wildfire start 3 miles southwest of Sisters on the Deschutes National Forest named the Trout Creek Fire. Firefighters are on scene with additional resources responding, including engines and a hotshot crew. Per Central OR Fire Info

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The NIFC has reported a new wildfire burning in Deschutes County, southwest of Sisters. At this time, according to WATCH DUTY, the fire has been named the 0143 Fire. Currently, 2 acres have been impacted.
