Crook County Fire and Rescue Implements Summer Burn Restrictions

PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Crook County Fire and Rescue will implement its Summer Burn Regulations starting Saturday, May 9, 2026, prohibiting outdoor debris pile burning. This change signifies the beginning of the designated fire season for the Fire District and Crook County.

Under these new regulations, burn barrels and personal warming fires will still be permitted. These activities are allowed on designated Restricted Burn Days, in accordance with the Crook County Outdoor Burn Regulations.
