Backcountry Offroad Expo brings off-road community together in Sisters

SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) — Backcountry Offroad Expo is coming to Sisters High School August 1-2.
The expo takes place August 1 & 2 and brings together the off-road and outdoor community for a weekend of vehicles, gear, education, camping, and connection. The consumer-facing outdoor trade show will feature off-road vehicles, adventure vans, trucks, trailers, rooftop tents, campers, outdoor equipment, builders, brands, and local businesses.
Attendees will have the chance to explore different setups, meet the people behind the builds, enjoy food trucks, listen to live music, participate in community activities, enter the raffle, camp onsite, participate in the DIY contest, shop through the For Sale vehicle section, and learn from educational talks and demos throughout the weekend.
Backcountry Offroad Expo was created to feel more like a gathering than a traditional trade show. The goal is to create a welcoming space for anyone who loves the outdoors. “Oregon has one of the strongest outdoor communities in the country, and Sisters felt like a natural fit for Backcountry Offroad Expo.” said Merrisa Petersen, founder of Backcountry Offroad Expo. “We’re excited to bring together people who love exploring, learning, and spending time outside, while creating a place where everyone feels welcome, no matter what they drive or how they adventure.”
Attendees can use code SISTERSFREE for free entrance and CAMPING20 for 20% off of camping passes for the weekend (camping includes Friday and Saturday nights).
Raffle information: All proceeds from the raffle go directly to the Humane Society.
