LOCAL ALERT WEATHER DAY: HAZARDOUS AIR QUALITY THURSDAY

The air quality for Central Oregon is registering in the Hazardous range from time to time in a variety of locations. The wildfires continue to throw off the smoke and are widely spread throughout Central Oregon, so all will be impacted by the smoke at one time or another.

The Local Alert Weather Days are issued when we feel there will be a harmful impact to our viewers based on weather related events. The air quality falls under that umbrella.

Stay inside if you can, check on the elderly in your neighborhood and avoid any strenuous activites.
