Red Flag Warning issued July 23 at 8:46PM PDT until July 25 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Pendleton OR

…WINDY AND BREEZY WITH CRITICAL RH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY…

The upper level low will eject into the region bringing windy
conditions to many of the Cascade Gaps as well as central OR.
Humidities both Friday and Saturday will be critical.

* AFFECTED AREA…Fire Weather Zones 690 Kittitas Valley, 691
Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, 691 Lower Columbia Basin of
Washington, 697 Central Blue Mountains and 704 Northern
Deschutes National Forest.

* TIMING…From 10 AM to 8 PM PDT Saturday.

* WINDS…West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
