Mud Bay launches donation drive for pets, families affected by Spokane-area fires

BEND, Ore. — Pacific Northwest pet retailer Mud Bay is launching a donation drive to support pets and families affected by recent fires in Spokane-area communities.

From Aug. 12 through Aug. 30, customers can purchase pet food or supplies at any Mud Bay location and donate the items to Spokane-area pets in need. Mud Bay says it will match customer donated purchases up to $10,000.

Spokane-based AFCO Distribution is helping coordinate transportation of the donated products to animal welfare organizations serving fire-affected communities, including SpokAnimal.
