Prineville ‘Coffee with a Cop’ focusing on Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Happening next, Prineville police are inviting the community to join them for coffee on Tuesday, September 8th.

Officers with the Prineville Police Department will be at Golden Coffee Co. for Coffee with a Cop, as the department recognizes Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

There won't be an agenda or speeches, just an opportunity for officers and community members to connect and talk.

The event runs from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 8th, at Golden Coffee Co. (129 NW 4th St, Prineville).

Police say the message is simple: You are not alone. You matter. And they're here for you.
