Cooler Friday with dry pattern in place through the weekend

KTVZ

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Good Friday morning!

We’re starting the day with freezing temperatures and frost across parts of Central Oregon.

Cooler, drier air is moving in, keeping our weather quiet for the next few days. Expect plenty of sunshine today, with highs in the low to mid 50s.

The coldest temperatures arrive tonight into Saturday morning, when lows dip into the teens and 20s.

After that chilly start, temperatures will rebound into the low 60s both Saturday and Sunday. Those temperatures are near normal for late October.

The weekend looks dry, with partly to mostly cloudy skies.

A low-pressure system developing near the Gulf of Alaska could bring cooler temperatures and showers to the Pacific Northwest early next week. Its track and strength remain uncertain, but highs Monday and Tuesday are expected to reach the upper 50s.
