Chilly patterns continues this weekend with Halloween showers

KTVZ

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Happy Friday! It's going to be a cold morning with the potential for some fog. If it develops when temperatures are below freezing, be mindful of slick spots and reduced visibility impacting travel.

Expect partly to mostly cloudy conditions for any afternoon activities. Highs will eventually rise into the upper 40s and low 50s later today, which is still below normal.

Overnight lows will dip into the 20s in most spots with a chance for some patchy fog.

Halloween looks mostly cloudy and chilly, with a chance of showers starting as early as mid-afternoon. Rain could mix with a little snow, but widespread accumulation isn’t expected.

If you’re heading out for the Witch’s Paddle or trick-or-treating tomorrow, bring warm layers and a rain jacket. No need to cancel your plans...just dress for the weather so you can enjoy them comfortably!

Don’t forget to fall back! Daylight Saving Time ends at 2am Sunday, so set your clocks back one hour. Enjoy an extra hour of sleep, but get ready for earlier sunsets.

We will be drying out on Sunday, but temperatures will stay chilly. Expect daytime highs in the upper 40s and low 50s through the weekend.

We are trending warmer and drier for the first few days of November with temperatures in the mid 50s by Tuesday and Wednesday.

Have a safe and fun Halloweekend!
