Holiday giving tree launches Nov. 23 to support local families in need

Bend, Ore. (KTVZ) --- Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue and the Crooked River Ranch Volunteer Fire Association are hosting a Holiday Giving Tree program to support local families in need.

The initiative relies on community donations to provide holiday gifts for families living in the area. Participants pick tag requests from a tree set up at the local fire station.

Community members can select a gift tag from the Giving Tree at the fire station starting Nov. 23. Each tag details specific gift items requested for a local family.

All purchased items must be returned to the fire station by Dec. 10. Organizers require that all donated gifts be new and unwrapped.

Gifts will be collected through the Dec. 10 deadline at the fire station ahead of holiday distribution.
