Financial aid info night scheduled for Nov. 18 at Caldera High School

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) --- Families exploring college or vocational education options will have an opportunity to learn more about financial aid during an upcoming information night at Caldera High School.

Bend-La Pine Schools is hosting the event Wednesday, November 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Caldera High School. The presentation is geared toward high school seniors and their families, but students at any grade level and their parents are welcome to attend.

Representatives from local colleges will provide an overview of the financial aid process and answer questions about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) and the Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC).

Attendees can also connect with school-to-career counselors to learn about additional financial aid resources and scholarship support available at their schools.

Organizers say the event will offer guidance regardless of a family's financial situation.
