The smoke will stick with us a few more days

Our skies become partly to mostly cloudy Monday night, and dense smoke will stay with us. Lows will be in the 40s to low 50s, with breezes becoming light and variable after midnight.

Again, despite mostly clear to partly cloudy skies for the next few days, we will see smoky conditions as long as wildfires continue to burn and winds blow the smoke in our direction. Highs will stay in the low to mid 80s through the middle of the week.

Cooler air will begin to move in and we will see a slight chance of rain showers as early as Wednesday night.

That chance of showers will increase a bit Thursday and stay with us through Friday night. Daytime highs will be pretty average Thursday and become cooler Friday through the weekend. Clearer skies will return for the weekend.
